  Dog owners BEWARE, they are NOT a dog friendly place on or off season. I was there April 14th. I have 2 rescued greyhounds that were being perfectly behaved when I was approached by police and asked for my license. I wasn't doing anything wrong. After they checked my license out I was then told I had to leave. Was told dogs were not allowed, yet I saw several other people who had dogs on the boardwalk as well. Even had one bark at us when we were leaving the boardwalk. I had driven over 2 hours to visit a place I enjoyed going to as a kid. I wanted my daughter to have a good day. She is dealing with a father who is dying of cancer. The boardwalk was not busy. I explained why we were there and how long we had driven. I was not shown compassion or allowed to walk back the short distance on the boardwalk to get funnel cake before heading back to our vehicle. I hope that others were stopped and told the same as I was, that dogs were NOT allowed. I will never go back to Point Pleasant beach even without my dogs.

  Great place to walk on the Boardwalk to see a nice view of the Beach at Point Pleasant. Last year, we went to Point Pleasant and went on the rides with my friends and families from Cooke. That was an amazing event since last year on May 20, 2017. I really liked it and I want to do it again this year in 2018. I love the beach and the amusement park!.
